FOR AN OUTING WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS, FISHING FOR SMALL TOMCOD IS A VERY POPULAR ACTIVITY
In operation FOR OVER 80 YEARS, the JP Hivon Fishing Center is located in the middle of the river, close to the activities. Christian and Karl Hivon as well as Lyne and Claire will welcome you with open arms.
The fishing center is open 7 days a week with 2 fishing periods: day fishing from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and night fishing from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am. On weekdays, night fishing is by reservation only.
WHAT YOU WILL FIND AT THE JP Hivon Fishing Center
- A warm welcome
- Clean, disinfected and wood-heated fishing cabins (before your arrival)
- All our cabins are equipped with protection for young children
- All equipment is included in the rental price, even bait (pig’s liver)
- No permit is required for this type of fishing
- Possibility to cook your fish in the fishing cabin with your own pans

HOW TO GET TO OUR FISHING CENTER
- Take Highway 40 westbound if you are coming from Quebec City, eastbound if you are coming from Trois-Rivières or Montreal.
- Take exit 236, Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade, at the end of the exit, turn right at about 200 to 300 feet.
- A sign will indicate DESCENT #6 – Centre de Pêche JP Hivon.
- Take this road on your left and you will arrive directly at our fishing center.
- We are about 1 hour from Quebec City, 30 minutes from Trois-Rivières and 2 hours from Montreal.
