In operation for over 80 years, the JP Hivon Fishing Center is a true benchmark when it comes to ice fishing for small tomcod fish. Located in the heart of the river, the center enjoys an ideal location, close to many other activities.
Christian and Karl Hivon, along with Lyne and Claire, will welcome you warmly and courteously for an authentic and unforgettable experience.
The center is open 7 days a week, with two fishing periods:
- Day fishing: from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Night fishing: from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (on weekdays, night fishing is by reservation only)

HOW TO GET TO OUR FISHING CENTER
- Take Highway 40 westbound if you are coming from Quebec City, eastbound if you are coming from Trois-Rivières or Montreal.
- Take exit 236, Ste-Anne-de-la-Pérade, at the end of the exit, turn right at about 200 to 300 feet.
- A sign will indicate DESCENT #6 – Centre de Pêche JP Hivon.
- Take this road on your left and you will arrive directly at our fishing center.
- We are about 1 hour from Quebec City, 30 minutes from Trois-Rivières and 2 hours from Montreal.
